The SQL FIRST() aggregate function is use to display first values of the specified column.

SQL FIRST(column_Name) Syntax

The SQL FIRST() function syntax is very simple and it looks like this
SELECT FIRST(column_name) FROM table_name

SQL FIRST() Example

We have following "Table_1" name table:

S_NoS_NameTotalPercentage
1Jay50777.84
2Ajay48774.92
3Bhavesh46972.15
4Jaimin46371.23
5Dolar42565.38

SQL FIRST(column_Name) Example

Example Statement:
SQL> SELECT FIRST(Total) AS First_Total FROM Table_1;
Note: Practice time FIRST() Function can not Properly work. Lets see other way.
SQL> SELECT Total FROM Table_1 ORDER BY S_No LIMIT 1;
Example Result will look like This:

First_Total
506
